Musical residency and open studio Alexandre Babel and Silvia Giliberto

Percussionist, composer, curator and Swiss Music Prize 2021, Alexandre Babel arrives at Casa degli Artisti just after having curated, together with Francesco Stocchi, the project “The Concert” by Latifa Echakhch for the Swiss Pavilion of the 59. Venice Biennale.
For this Milanese residency he collaborates with the Italian Silvia Gilberto, an emerging pianist specialized in the performance of contemporary classical music, who has already played at the Casa for the 2021 edition of the Festival Pianosofia.
In the musical atelier of Casa degli Artisti, Alexandre Babel will structure a new composition for piano and percussion that will be performed by Silvia Giliberto and Alexandre Babel himself.
