Meet the Media Guru – Swiss Edition. 11/05

The Meet the Media Guru Swiss Edition continues with a third stimulating event at the Casa degli Artisti in collaboration with the Consulate General of Switzerland in Milan. Special guest is Claudio Tessone, Professor of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies at the Informatics Department, University of Zurich, co-founder and Chairman of the UZH Blockchain Center.

Together with his team and a large international network, he has been studying blockchain as a paradigm of socio-economic complexity for a long time. What are the principles that drive these systems? Why can we trust them to work? Although created to develop new decentralised economies where anyone can participate and contribute, do they really work that way? On Wednesday 11 May, Professor Tessone will present the results of his extensive research into the intersection of data science, economics and computer science.
