HEAD – The Impossible Showroom

The Impossible Showroom presents a new typology of virtual reality environments specifically created to exhibit design objects. Developed by Interior Architecture MA students, the different VR spaces showcase a selection of furniture pieces by Swiss designers, such as Peter Zumthor, Atelier Oï and Pierre Jeanneret.
The visitors and the objects are placed in spaces that go beyond the visual vocabulary of physical representation. To create these specific showrooms, the students were inspired by the materiality of the objects, the ethos of their designer, as well as the visual identity associated with the selected brands, such as Vitra, USM, Molteni or Lucas Schnaidt.
